Enoc, also called Enoch, was a Jewish philosopher and scholar who lived in the first century BC. He was a teacher of the Law and Wisdom of God, and his teachings were highly respected by his contemporaries and later by the early Christians.

The Book of Enoch has several sections. The first part, called The Book of Enoch, is a religious text. It is believed to have been written by Enoc and to have been the first book that was published. It contains religious teachings and instructions, as well as the history of the creation of the world and the life of God. The second section, called The Second Book of Enoch, is a literary text. It contains the history of the creation of the world, the story of Noah, the life of Enoch, the birth of Jesus, and the teaching of Jesus. The third section, called The Story of the Fall of Human Nature, tells the story of the fall of human nature and the resulting disaster that befall the human race.
